Herein will be an explanation as to why this blog is in existence. You might be asking yourself who is this person, why have they wantonly taken H.G Wells protagonist from The First Men in the Moon for her URL and how had that not been taken already? These are all legitimate questions and I will begin by addressing the matter of who I am before working my way toward some of your other questions.
I am Lauren of Wollongong, Brewer of Tea and Communer of Cats. I'm a Vegetarian, misanthrope, writer and I am, to my eternal shame, well and truly Earth-Bound. What I hope to accomplish by writing this blog is a sense of permanency, as well as cultivate and maintain an outlet for my cosmic angst. In conjunction to this blog, I keep a blog for my Sociology class where I am forced to bleed weekly research about the prescribed readings and course content, this blog will be for personal use, untainted by an academic's blood and tears.
What can you expect to read on this blog? It will be entirely at random and about whatever I am currently preoccupied. Anywhere from kittens to the in depth analysis of what it means to be sorted into specific Hogwarts houses (I recognise how frequently these two things coincide but I haven't the patience for another example).
I take no responsibility for the frustration you will undoubtedly feel once I begin to get into a routine of posting and then withdraw my attention to let my blog to stagnate. I also take no responsibility for random bouts of fangirlism, gaming progress, depression, politics or otherwise but I maintain that the rating will remain PG to M. Viewer discretion is advised.
